Joe looked very happy as his girlfriend Vivian was
there to celebrate his birthday.
When Vivian was leaving, she carefully helped her
future mother-in-law into the car, so she knows what to do. It's no wonder

Joe Ngai Jan celebrated his 42nd birthday by having
dinner together with his girlfriend Vivian Chow, his father Ngai Hong
and his mother, and also Feng Shui master Mak Ling Ling. Although Vivian
hasn't married Joe yet, she already calls his parents as Father and Mother,
and also helped to support Joe's mother by the arm when she's walking
in and out of places. Mak Ling Ling even indicated that Joe and Vivian's
'eight characters of birth' are very compatible with each other and that
getting married during the Mid-Autumn Festival would be the most auspicious
time.
Yesterday was Joe's 42nd birthday. Two nights ago, Vivian and her future
father-in-law and mother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Ngai Hong, James Wong Jim's
widow Winnie, and Feng Shui master Mak Ling Ling all went to Wan Chai
for dinner at Che's Cantonese Restaurant to have an early celebration
for Joe's birthday.

Two nights ago at around 9:00PM, Joe was holding the birthday cake that
Mak Ling Ling gave him and lit the candle himself to make a wish. Although
Joe's mother tried to avoid the camera as much as possible, Joe's father
Ngai Hong and the birthday boy were all smiles the entire evening. When
the reporter requested to take a picture of Joe holding his cake, he humorously
said, "I'll hold Vivian while getting my picture taken!" At
9:30, Joe was responsible for being the chauffeur to drive his parents
back home. Vivian took very good care of her future father-in-law and
mother-in-law. When they were leaving, Vivian was helping her mother-in-law
by holding on to her arm.
During the dinner two nights ago, Joe was with his parents and Vivian,
and also Feng Shui master Mak Ling Ling. Could it be that Joe was planning
to ask Mak Ling Ling to choose a wedding day for them? Joe said, "No,
just friends having dinner!" Yesterday, the reporter called Mak Ling
Ling to seek confirmation, and she said, "No, it's because today
is Joe's birthday, plus Vivian will soon be having her concert, so we
decided to meet for dinner to celebrate." The reporter asked Mak
Ling Ling if Joe and Vivian's 'eight characters of birth' were very compatible
and if it's suitable for them to get married this year. Mak Ling Ling
said, "They're quite compatible. If they plan on getting married,
they should get married during the Mid-Autumn Festival, since it would
be the most auspicious time."
Treating cats and dog as their children
Also, Commercial Radio continued to air Vivian's taped interview yesterday.
During the interview, Vivian was asked if she and Joe would get married
and have children. Vivian said, "I already treat my cats and dog
as my children, so I won't be having my own kids! I don't think we will
be getting married at this time. When I was 20something years old, I might
have thought about getting married, but now my thinking has changed. Living
a happy life is good enough already."
