During the past few days, there were many people from the entertainment circle who came to see his show, including Vivian Chow (at the 2/11 show), Ada Choi Siu Fan and her husband, Eileen Tung Oi Ling and her husband, Regina Ip Lau Suk-yee and others. Priscilla Chan Wai Han was the guest performer during Hacken's 5th show, Gigi Leung Wing Kei was the guest performer during the 6th show, and last night during the 7th show, Joey Yung Jo Yee was the guest performer. Hacken especially wrote a new song "Everyday is Valentine's Day" to give to the audience and to his wife Emily Lo Suk Yi. How sweet.

Vivian revealed she'll be taking a long break after her concert

(Picture on file)

Yesterday during Vivian Chow's interview on Commercial Radio, she said she felt she was a very lucky artist, because the audience still treated her very well even though she left the entertainment circle for many years. She said she wouldn't be making a full comeback to showbiz, because right now she's most comfortable and doesn't want to have such a busy lifestyle like in the past. She said, "I can handle doing advertisements. I enjoy it, since I don't feel much pressure. I will be taking a long rest after my concert. This time might be the last time I perform on stage."

Vivian had left Canada to return to HK to live, because a couple years ago when she had returned to HK to visit her mom, SARS occured in HK, and plus her mom was quite old, so in the end her boyfriend accomodated to her and returned to live in HK, which made her so happy. Vivian said, "Because of SARS, I didn't want to go on a plane (back to Canada) since I didn't want to take the chance of carrying the virus with me. But I also really missed my cat Pal, so I forced him (Joe) to send me pictures of Pal, so that's why there was that picture (picture of Joe naked holding Pal). Then later he decided to return to HK with Pal."

Vivian's last performance on stage

Vivian said she wouldn't be making a full comeback to showbiz, because she really enjoys her current carefree lifestyle. (Picture on file)

Yesterday during a radio interview, Vivian Chow claimed that she was not making a full comeback to showbiz, even though she's recently been seen doing lots of advertisements and will be having a charity concert towards the end of next month. She said she wouldn't let herself return to the entertainment circle work mode she had in the past and said she really enjoys her current lifestyle and doesn't want any restrictions again. She said, "Recently I've had a lot of work to do, because I have to promote the charity concert I'm having at the end of next month. I think after my concert is over, I will have a long rest, so this concert could possibly be the last time I perform on stage!" She was asked if it was very unexpected that she was still so popular, and she said, "Yes! I left HK for about 7, 8 years, but the audience is still so supportive. I'm really a lucky artist!"

As for why Vivian suddenly decided to leave Canada and come back to live in HK a few years ago, she said, "During that year, I came back to HK to visit my mom, but then SARS occured in HK and I couldn't immediately go back to Canada, but I also really missed my cat Pal (who was in Canada with Joe), so then my boyfriend decided to come back to HK with Pal."

Vivian giving advanced notice that this is her last concert

(Picture on file)

Yesterday, Vivian Chow accepted an interview with Commercial Radio. She said her upcoming concert should be the last time she will be performing on stage, because she feels that her current lifestyle is the most comfortable, so she wouldn't let herself go back to her past lifestyle of work.

Vivian also said she never would have guessed her fans would react so warmly to the news about her having a concert again, and she herself didn't expect this.

Vivian would take action first and then tell Joe about it

(Picture on file)

Yesterday, Vivian Chow continued with her Commercial Radio interview and talked about when she split up with Joe Ngai Jan back in 1992. Vivian said not to be fooled by her sweet looks. She actually has her own characteristic, and was firm on her own view for breaking up with Joe, but who would have guessed they would get back together again 4 years later. In 1997 when Vivian left the entertainment circle without any hesitation to immigrate, she had decided everything first before she told Joe about it, just like her concert this time, because Joe would always be afraid that the concert would be too exhausting for her and would shoot down her plans, so everytime she has to take action first and then tell Joe about it.

Vivian claims she looks soft on the outside, but is firm on the inside;
Open-heartedly spoke about being impetuous when she was young and splitting up with boyfriend before

Vivian accepted an interview with Commercial Radio. (Picture on file)

During Vivian Chow's Commercial Radio interview on 4/27, she was asked if she and her boyfriend split up because they were both too busy with work or if it was because her boyfriend was a playboy. Vivian open-heartedly spoke saying that she had separated with her boyfriend around 1992/1993 and said, "At that time we were both young and impetuous. I look like I'm gentle and agreeable, but actually I have my own characteristic and would be firm in my view and would not give in to others. We actually liked each other but didn't know how to treat each other well. In 1996, both of us didn't have a partner, and later we kept in closer contact and then got back together."

A lot of times Vivian would take action first before telling others what she did, like for her concert this time, she didn't tell her boyfriend about it until after it was confirmed that she would be having a concert, because her boyfriend would worry that it would be too arduous for her and would try to persuade her not to have the concert. In 1997, Vivian suddenly left the entertainment circle, because she felt at that time, she was apart from the outside world, and had neglected her family and pets; even her boyfriend had also been placed after her work, which made her feel ashamed.

Vivian and Cha Siu Yan.

Yesterday (4/26) was the birthday of Vivian Chow's boyfriend, Joe Ngai Jan. Two nights ago, she went to dinner at Che's Cantonese Restaurant with her future father-in-law Ngai Hong and mother-in-law, and also Feng Shui master Mak Ling Ling to celebrate her boyfriend's birthday. When they were leaving the restaurant at about 10:00PM, they openly let the reporters take their pictures.

Joe said he usually doesn't like having a big birthday party, but this year his parents returned to HK to live, so he agreed to have dinner with his family and good friends. Mak Ling Ling has known Vivian for a very long time already. Mak Ling Ling mentioned that Joe will have a difficult year, so she suggested for Joe and Vivian to get married and have a child to increase his luck.

But yesterday when Vivian accepted an interview by Cha Siu Yan on Commercial Radio, Vivian said she and Joe already have a consensus on not having children, and that they currently don't have any plans on getting married. Vivian said, "When I was 20something years old, I had thought about marriage, but later on, I didn't think about it."

Joe and Vivian choosing a lucky day to get married?
Joe celebrates birthday with Vivian, his parents, and Mak Ling Ling

Two nights ago, Joe went to dinner with his girlfriend Vivian, his parents, and Mak Ling Ling to celebrate his birthday. (L to R: Vivian, Mak Ling Ling, Joe's mother, Joe, Joe's father Ngai Hong)

Yesterday was Joe Ngai Jan's 42nd birthday. Two nights ago, Joe went to Che's Cantonese Restaurant for dinner to celebrate his birthday together with his girlfriend Vivian Chow, his father Ngai Hong and his mother, and also Feng Shui master Mak Ling Ling, and some of his other good friends. Since Mak Ling Ling was at the event, there was a time that reporters were guessing whether she was helping Joe and Vivian choose a lucky day to get married, but Mak Ling Ling emphasized that she was only there to celebrate Joe's birthday and was not there to choose a lucky day for them to get married. However, Mak Ling Ling indicated that it will be a difficult year for Joe, so it would really be suitable for him to get married and have a child to increase his luck.

Group was open to pose for pictures
Two nights ago, the entire group of friends and family left the restaurant at about 10:00pm. When they saw the large group of reporters outside, they openly stood still and let the reporters take their pictures. Joe and Ngai Hong were all smiles the entire time. Joe even told the reporters to be careful. Ngai Hong's face was a little red. It looks like he drank some wine. Joe said he usually doesn't like having a big birthday party, but this year his parents returned to HK to live, so he agreed to have dinner with his family and good friends. One of his friends also bought a birthday cake for him. What kind of present did his girlfriend Vivian buy for him? Joe said it's something suitable that he could use, but he wouldn't reveal what it was. Joe's birthday wish is to have good health.

Difficult year for Joe; recommended to get married and have a child to increase his luck
Two nights ago, Mak Ling Ling was also at the dinner, and Vivian even held her arm when they were taking pictures, since they were very familiar with each other. Thus, the reporter called Mak Ling Ling later about this matter, and she said she knew Joe and Vivian for a long time. Earlier when Joe's pool hall opened, Mak Ling Ling also gave him some advice and said it's possible he could open a second pool hall in the future. Regarding the guesses about Joe and Vivian finding her to choose a good marriage date for them, Mak Ling Ling said, "No, they didn't. I was just there to celebrate Joe's birthday." But she indicated that this will be a difficult year for Joe and suggested for Joe to get married and have a child to increase his luck.

Vivian was treated politely by a man shouting profanity

Vivian invited Feng Shui master Mak Ling Ling (left) to the dinner party.

Two nights ago, Jade Girl Master Vivian Chow went to a restaurant in Wan Chai together with her boyfriend Joe's parents and friends to celebrate Joe's 42nd birthday. The dinner was also to offer best wishes before Vivian's upcoming charity concert. Although Vivian wasn't wearing any makeup, she was still open for the reporters to take pictures of her and she was smiling from ear to ear. Feng Shui master Mak Ling Ling was also at the dinner party. When reporters asked Mak Ling Ling if she predicted Vivian's fortune for her concert, she said, "We're just meeting for a private dinner." They left the restaurant at about 10:00pm. A large group of reporters were waiting outside, which attracted a lot of attention from people passing by. There was even a man who was shouting profanity, saying "I wonder who the X that was. So it's Joe. What's the big deal?" Immediately someone else screamed that Vivian was also there, and then that man immediately said, "ok, now that's different!"

Also, Vivian accepted an interview from Cha Siu Yan yesterday. When Vivian was asked about getting married and having children, she said, "When I was 20something years old, I had thought about it, but now my way of thinking has changed. I really respect marriage and I'm not opposed to it. Our relationship is really good now. It's not necessary to have a marriage certificate to guarantee this. But I wouldn't rule out that we might suddenly get married. As for having children, we definitely won't!"

Choosing a day to get married while celebrating Joe's 42nd birthday

Joe looked very happy as his girlfriend Vivian was there to celebrate his birthday.

When Vivian was leaving, she carefully helped her future mother-in-law into the car, so she knows what to do. It's no wonder that Joe's parents are very happy with her.

Two nights ago, Mak Ling Ling treated Joe to dinner, but also attracted Ngai Hong and his wife to choose a lucky day for their son Joe and Vivian to get married. (L to R: Vivian, Mak Ling Ling, Joe's mother, Joe, Joe's father Ngai Hong)

Joe Ngai Jan celebrated his 42nd birthday by having dinner together with his girlfriend Vivian Chow, his father Ngai Hong and his mother, and also Feng Shui master Mak Ling Ling. Although Vivian hasn't married Joe yet, she already calls his parents as Father and Mother, and also helped to support Joe's mother by the arm when she's walking in and out of places. Mak Ling Ling even indicated that Joe and Vivian's 'eight characters of birth' are very compatible with each other and that getting married during the Mid-Autumn Festival would be the most auspicious time.

Yesterday was Joe's 42nd birthday. Two nights ago, Vivian and her future father-in-law and mother-in-law Mr. and Mrs. Ngai Hong, James Wong Jim's widow Winnie, and Feng Shui master Mak Ling Ling all went to Wan Chai for dinner at Che's Cantonese Restaurant to have an early celebration for Joe's birthday.

Supporting mother-in-law by the arm when leaving
Two nights ago at around 9:00PM, Joe was holding the birthday cake that Mak Ling Ling gave him and lit the candle himself to make a wish. Although Joe's mother tried to avoid the camera as much as possible, Joe's father Ngai Hong and the birthday boy were all smiles the entire evening. When the reporter requested to take a picture of Joe holding his cake, he humorously said, "I'll hold Vivian while getting my picture taken!" At 9:30, Joe was responsible for being the chauffeur to drive his parents back home. Vivian took very good care of her future father-in-law and mother-in-law. When they were leaving, Vivian was helping her mother-in-law by holding on to her arm.

During the dinner two nights ago, Joe was with his parents and Vivian, and also Feng Shui master Mak Ling Ling. Could it be that Joe was planning to ask Mak Ling Ling to choose a wedding day for them? Joe said, "No, just friends having dinner!" Yesterday, the reporter called Mak Ling Ling to seek confirmation, and she said, "No, it's because today is Joe's birthday, plus Vivian will soon be having her concert, so we decided to meet for dinner to celebrate." The reporter asked Mak Ling Ling if Joe and Vivian's 'eight characters of birth' were very compatible and if it's suitable for them to get married this year. Mak Ling Ling said, "They're quite compatible. If they plan on getting married, they should get married during the Mid-Autumn Festival, since it would be the most auspicious time."

Treating cats and dog as their children
Also, Commercial Radio continued to air Vivian's taped interview yesterday. During the interview, Vivian was asked if she and Joe would get married and have children. Vivian said, "I already treat my cats and dog as my children, so I won't be having my own kids! I don't think we will be getting married at this time. When I was 20something years old, I might have thought about getting married, but now my thinking has changed. Living a happy life is good enough already."
