Invited to dinner.

In August 2004, Shiseido released a new product "REVITAL Wrinklelift Retino Science AA eye anti-wrinkle mask" and invited Vivian to be the spokesperson of the product. This was the first time Vivian did an ad for a skincare product. After the ad was released, there were good comments given by the public. Soon after the product hit the market, there were outstanding results, as it was sold out throughout Asia. Shiseido's corporate headquarters in Japan did a market survey and discovered that when compared with products which also used a spokesperson, the combination of REVITAL and Vivian received the most ideal response from the market, and they were very pleased with the results. For this reason, Shiseido invited Vivian to work together again on a new ad for their "REVITAL White whitening product line."

The new REVITAL White ad was shot in Tokyo. The entire crew was Japanese. The working atmosphere was relaxed and everyone was friendly with each other. The shoot went smoothly and was done at 6:00PM. Vivian even highly praised the crew for being very attentive. They especially prepared her favorite eel and rice and coffee cake for her lunch. At night, Vivian and the entire crew went to a famous restaurant in Roppongi to enjoy a plentiful dinner. This restaurant had a traditional Japanese themed garden. That night everyone ordered healthy and flavorful tofu, chicken skewers, soy milk and other dishes. They finished all of the food with nothing left. During the dinner, Vivian revealed that when she was young, she had secretly fallen in love with the Japanese anime character robot Robocon (Siu Lo Bo) and even thought of it as her small boyfriend. Everyone laughed loudly after hearing this. Before leaving the restaurant, the image stylist represented Shiseido to give Vivian a sexy silver evening gown, which pleasantly surprised her. Vivian said the dress is very beautiful and also fits her, but the dress is too sexy and she didn't have the courage yet to wear this dress to a public event. After having dinner, Vivian seized the chance to roam around the night streets of Shibuya. Vivian revealed that she hasn't been to Japan in 8 years. This time when going to Japan, she feels Japan has changed a lot. Vivian said, "Although the schedule was very tight, I wouldn't miss the chance to do some shopping and have Japanese ramen noodles. If I have the chance to work in Japan again, I hope I can visit the Shiseido factory to understand how the skincare products are made and to increase my knowledge about the most advanced technology. Then when I come back, I would introduce this to everyone who loves to be beautiful."

Vivian received a sexy and beautiful dress

Vivian hasn't been to Japan in 8 years and feels very excited to be there.

Last year, Vivian was the spokesperson for Shiseido and shot an ad for them. After the ad was released, there were good comments given by the public, and the results were outstanding. Shiseido sincerely invited Vivian to work together again on a new ad for the 'REVITAL White whitening product line.'

Vivian went to Tokyo last year in November to shoot the ad. The entire crew was Japanese. Although it was the first time they worked together, they quickly became familiar with each other. The work went smoothly and was finished quickly. Vivian highly praised the crew for being very attentive. They especially prepared her favorite eel and rice and coffee cake for her lunch. At night, Vivian and the entire crew went to a famous restaurant in Roppongi to enjoy a plentiful dinner. This restaurant had a traditional Japanese themed garden. Even more hard to come by is that the dress is beautiful and also fits her, but the dress is too sexy and she didn't have the courage yet to wear this dress to a public event.

After having dinner, Vivian seized the chance to roam around the streets of Shibuya. It's been 8 years since Vivian went to Japan. This time when going to Japan, she feels Japan has changed a lot.

Joe and Vivian call themselves as San Diu Hap Lui (the Condor Hero and his companion)

Jo Kuk Jo Lam and Joe.

Joe Ngai and Vivian Chow have dated for many years, but a few days ago, they had a small argument about giving lucky money. Yesterday, Joe and Jo Kuk Jo Lam attended the radio station's Lunar New Year group visit. Joe said his girlfriend had helped him to give lucky money to their maid, and they got into a small argument because of this. Luckily this didn't affect their relationship. The argument has already passed, and his relationship with his girlfriend became even stronger. He said he saw the Lunar new year predictions. His Chinese zodiac sign is the dragon. The year of the rooster is a good year for dragons to get married, and their relationship will be good. Vivian's Chinese zodiac sign is the sheep. During the year of the rooster, she should carry an accessory which has a dragon on it. Joe laughed saying, "I told her she can just carry me." The reporter asked, "Then will you get married?" Joe said, "Worldly customs don't affect us, San Diu Hap Lui (the condor hero and his companion). I already thought we were married for a long time!" Vivian and Joe have already exchanged Valentine's cards. Today, they will be going to eat Japanese food to celebrate Valentine's Day.

Joe and Vivian call themselves as San Diu Hap Lui (the Condor Hero and his companion)
Already thought they were married long ago

Vivian's Chinese zodiac sign is a sheep. This Lunar new year, she needs to carry an accessory which has a dragon on it. Joe's Chinese zodiac sign is a dragon, and he told his girlfriend it's not necessary for her to carry any other dragon accessory, since she's already got him.

On Joe's radio program "Cool Valley," he talked about his family matters of him and his girlfriend Vivian. He said he and Vivian were preparing to give two lucky money envelopes, with HK$500 in each envelope, to their household maid on the first day of the Chinese New Year. However, on the first day of the Chinese New Year, Vivian already gave the two lucky money envelopes to the maid. After Joe found out Vivian didn't wait for him to give the lucky money envelope, both of them got into a small argument.

Bringing family matter onto the radio program to see who's right
Joe brought this family matter onto his radio program for the 'family court' part of his show to let the listeners decide on whether he was wrong or Vivian was wrong. The result was Joe was the winner. He said that even though he was the winner, he felt ashamed and thinks he was short-tempered. On the other hand, Joe indicated he gives lucky money one time each year and will have to wait until next year to give lucky money to his maid.

Today is Valentine's Day. Joe's girlfriend planned earlier to have dinner at a Japanese restaurant to celebrate this day. Joe and his girlfriend didn't buy each other a Valentine's gift. They only exchanged Valentine's cards. The reporter asked Joe if he would propose to his girlfriend on Valentine's day. He said, "Actually I already thought we were married long ago. We've been practicing this for many years, and we've become San Diu Hap Lui (the condor hero and his companion). It's not necessary to follow the customs (marriage certificate)." He also said he's writing a script for a mo hap (wu xia) martial arts movie. He said the leading actor has already been chosen, but the leading actress definitely won't be Vivian and said his girlfriend doesn't want to act in a commercial movie and would like to act in movies for some of the well-known directors.

Joe uses small argument to strengthen relationship

Joe and Jo Kuk are dressed in red to attend Commercial Radio's Lunar New Year group visit.

Joe and Vivian have dated for many years. Their relationship is very stable. Although they haven't officially gotten married, Joe said he already thought they were married for a long time. Signing a marriage certificate is just a worldly custom.

Joe's Chinese zodiac sign is the dragon. He heard a fortune teller say that all matters will be favorable for dragons this year and everything will be good, which made him very happy. As for his other half, Vivian, her zodiac sign is the sheep. This year, she should carry an accessory which has a dragon on it. Joe then told his girlfriend it's already good enough that she carries him.

But after laughing for a bit, Joe would sometimes have a suggestion about something. Joe revealed on his radio program about how he couldn't help but complain in front of his girlfriend about his dissatisfaction when she helped him give lucky money to their maid on the first day of the Chinese New Year.

Joe said, "This (giving lucky money) only happens once a year, so of course I hope that I can personally give lucky money to our maid. But after I found out she had already helped me give lucky money to our maid, I started grumbling and complaining, and we got into a small argument, and later everything was ok with this matter. We wouldn't be mad at each other after the night is over. Some radio listeners said I, being a man, am too short-tempered and told me if I have a stomach ache, then go to the bathroom. Later, I criticized myself and felt I was wrong. After this event, our relationship became even better."

When the reporter asked Joe how he would be celebrating Valentine's Day, Joe laughed saying, "Vivian thinks carefully, while I'm wide open to suggestions. She already said we would have dinner at a Japanese restaurant. The other day, she even secretly put a Valentine's card in my car. I also prepared a card for her. I hope I can find the opportunity to surprise her with the card. There are usually mushy words of love written inside the Valentine's card. We seldom give each other gifts on Valentine's Day." Currently, Joe is working on a script for a mo hap (wu xia) martial arts movie which has a message. They're still looking for the male actor. When asked if he would find Vivian to be the leading actress for the movie, Joe said, "There currently isn't a suitable role for her. I know if she wants to act in a movie, she hopes she can choose to act in a highly artistic movie so that it's more meaningful. She has some directors in mind that she would like to act in a movie for!"

Joe yelled at his girlfriend on the first day of Chinese New Year for giving lucky money early

Joe and Jo Kuk were giving away golden eggs.

Yesterday, Joe attended Commercial Radio's Lunar New Year group visit event. When he was interviewed by reporters, he talked about things that happened in his relationship with Vivian. Although Joe and Vivian have dated for many years and haven't gotten married yet, they both love each other like a husband and wife. Joe said signing a marriage certificate is just a worldly custom. He already thought they were married long ago and said that at this stage, there's nothing that is difficult for the 'San Diu Hap Lui' (the condor hero and his companion). They've practiced the 'jade girl sacred book' for many years. They're living a very happy life.

Joe's Chinese zodiac sign is the dragon and his girlfriend's zodiac sign is the sheep. Fortune tellers said that this year, dragons will have a favorable year. After Joe heard this, he was very happy. When the fortune tellers said that sheep (Vivian) this year need to wear an accessory which has a dragon on it, Joe laughed saying he would tell his girlfriend to wear him as the accessory and that should be good enough!

Also, during Joe's radio program, he talked about a time he was dissatisfied with his girlfriend. It took place on the first day of Chinese New Year. Vivian had helped Joe give lucky money to their maid. Joe was dissatisfied with her actions and complained to his girlfriend about this and mentioned this unhappy incident again. Joe said he had hoped to personally hand the lucky money to his maid since the Spring Festival only happens once a year, but then his girlfriend already helped him give the lucky money to their maid, so that's why he kept grumbling and complaining. He laughed saying they had a small argument, and then everything was ok. He stressed that both of them won't be mad at each other after the night is over. Later, there was a radio listener who said he was short-tempered and told him if he's got a stomach ache, then go to the bathroom. With regards to this, Joe also criticized himself and felt he was wrong. But after going through this matter, this actually strengthened their relationship!

Joe was asked how he would be celebrating Valentine's Day. Joe laughed saying, "My girlfriend always thinks carefully, while I'm wide open to suggestions. According to my girlfriend, we're planning to have dinner at a Japanese restaurant on that day. Two days ago, my girlfriend secretly placed a Valentine's card in my car. I also prepared a card for her and plan to give it to her as a surprise." He admitted that he wrote some mushy words of love inside the card, but they would seldom give each other Valentine's gifts. Joe also said he's preparing a script for a mo hap (wu xia) martial arts movie. The leading actor has already been chosen. As for the leading actress in the movie, the reporter asked Joe if he would get Vivian to do this part. Joe said there's currently not a suitable role for her. He knows that his girlfriend would like to act in an artistic film, and it seems like this martial arts movie isn't very suitable for her.

Sam Hui is interested to work with Vivian

Sam Hui is also good at sweet talking to men.
Last time when Vivian was a guest performer at Sam Hui's concert, she just sang duet songs and didn't sing on her own, but she was still very welcomed by the audience, so this time Sam is trying his hardest to get Vivian to come back to sing again. (Picture on file)

Last year, Vivian often appeared at public events. Earlier, she helped Shiseido to do an advertisement, but when talking about Vivian coming back to sing, she still refuses. Even when her best friend Chris Wong Hoi Kan had a concert last year, she was only willing to sit in the audience to show her support and didn't want to go on stage to sing. But if Song God Sam Hui were to ask Vivian, then maybe she would consider.

This reporter heard news that Sam wants to ask Vivian to be a guest performer at his upcoming concert (in February). He's also interested in bringing together Vivian and the 12 Girls Band to do a stage play, and Vivian would act as an angel. Sam always has lots of ideas and said he feels that there currently isn't any female singer who has Vivian's temperament, and the pretty female singers today can't sing very well, so that's why he wants to work with Vivian.

When Vivian heard Sam's compliments, she was happy and was also interested in his ideas. However, she always listens to what Joe Ngai says, and she hasn't replied back to Sam yet because Mr. Ngai doesn't really like his girlfriend to be working again in front of the camera and doesn't like Vivian wearing sexy clothing. If Sam wants Vivian to come back, it looks like he will have to talk to Joe.

Joe looking at women's watches by himself
If Vivian is going to make a comeback, she'll have to ask Joe first. When talking about Joe, although he's a dominant male, but this boyfriend really loves his girlfriend.

Last week, this reporter saw Joe by himself at The Lee Gardens in Causeway Bay shopping inside of Cartier. He was only looking at women's watches. There was one salesperson specifically attending to him. Joe was looking very carefully at the watches. He looked at 3-4 watches and kept asking the salesperson questions, and the salesperson was very patient in answering his questions. He looked at the watches for 20 minutes, but sorry, he didn't buy any of them. He just said "Thank-you" and left.

Maybe Joe had nothing to do. He was just walking by himself from Causeway Bay back to his home in Happy Valley near Ventris Place, which took him about 30 minutes. He wasn't tired, but the reporter who was following him had to catch his breath.

Ok, don't tell me (the reporter) that Joe wasn't looking for a watch for Vivian. Although Vivian's birthday already passed in November, but Valentine's Day is here. This reporter still believes there is true love in this world. Vivian, wait to receive your gift!

Joe was looking very carefully at the women's watches. He must be thinking about buying it to give to an important lady. His mom is in the USA, so if he's not giving it to Vivian, then who else could it be?

While walking back home, Joe saw a name-brand store and took a look, and when he passed by a real estate company, he also looked around. He's really curious!

Old company being pursued for HK$300,000; Joe explains he already left the company earlier;
Joe has lots of problems when releasing the "Wesley" comic book

Joe and Vivian were previously board members and shareholders of Easy Communication publishing company. Easy Communication still owes HK$300,000 in printing costs. (Picture on file)

Joe is the producer of the "Wesley" comic book. Circle Printing & Production Limited (Hang Dat Jai Jok) is in charge of printing this comic book. Later, Circle Printing received several checks from Easy Communication LTD, however the checks bounced.

Vivian was previously a shareholder of Easy Communication LTD and owned half of the company's shares.

Joe and Vivian were previously board members and shareholders of Easy Communication LTD. Easy Communication still owes HK$300,000 (US$38,510) in printing costs. Yesterday, Joe said that originally, he had traded the copyright of "Wesley" for shares of that company. Six months ago, he left the company and took back his share of the money because he was disappointed with his partner.

Yesterday, Circle Printing & Production Limited told Apple Daily newspaper that Easy Communication LTD still owes them more than HK$307,000 for printing costs. Joe was formerly a board member of Easy Communication, and Vivian was one of the shareholders. But both of them have already left their positions at this company. Yesterday, Joe said he left the company and took back his share of the money 6 months ago and said he's also a victim.

The person in charge of Circle Printing & Production Limited said that last June, they had received business from Easy Communication LTD to print the "Wesley" comic book. Circle Printing especially gave Easy Communication one extra month to pay because they knew Joe and Vivian were part owners of Easy Communication. But then it extended to two months. Later, Circle Printing stopped printing "Wesley" and instead printed 7 issues of 'Tin Ngoi Yuen Hap' for Easy Communication. Then last October, Circle Printing found out Joe and Vivian had already left Easy Communication and took back their share of the money, while Easy Communication still owed Circle Printing more than HK$307,000 for printing costs.

Giving a computer as payment
On the other side, the person in charge of Easy Communication LTD, Mr. Sin, earlier said that he would take the responsibility of paying back the costs to Circle Printing, but he has currently only paid back HK$20,000 in cash and gave them two computers to be regarded as a payment of about HK$10,000.

Yesterday on the phone, Joe said he and Circle Printing are both victims. Joe said, "Mr. Sin is a friend of mine for many years. At that time, he wanted to release a comic book, and also his workers were pretty good. I own the copyrights of "Wesley." Mr. Sin suggested I trade the copyright for being a major shareholder of Easy Communication. Vivian and I were one unit and owned half of the company's shares. Later I discovered that there were problems with the way Mr. Sin was running the company. The expenses weren't clear and he didn't do things properly, so that's why Vivian and I decided to leave the company and take back our share of the money."

"I'm also a victim"
Joe also said, "I don't remember the exact date, but it's at least 6 months ago. At the same time, I had requested to stop the printing of the "Wesley" comics. The 'Tin Ngoi Yuen Hap' book has nothing to do with me. I previously didn't take part in any of the finances for Easy Communication and wasn't in charge of a single penny. I don't feel that I should have to take on more legal or financial responsibilities because I'm a celebrity. I suggest Circle Printing to abide by the law and sue this company. Circle Printing and I are on the same line. We're both victims. I privately supported Mr. Sin's finances. I lost some money and the copyrights to "Wesley." I wasn't careful of the people I met."

Mr. Sin of Easy Communication LTD responded on the phone saying he owes Joe, because Joe wasn't satisfied with the quality of the "Wesley" comic book and requested to stop the printing of the book. Mr. Sin also said he's been talking with Circle Printing to make arrangements for paying for the expenses. He admits he still owes Circle Printing money, but feels this is just a common business activity.
