Returning to showbiz is already a done deal; first job is to sing and act;
Vivian single-handedly inciting the Hui brothers

Recently there have been rumors that 'Jade Girl Master' Vivian Chow will return to showbiz in September. She denied these rumors two days ago on the radio and said until now, there still is no new progress made. But someone who knows her said she actually already agreed to be the lead actress in the 3 Hui brother's new movie. Vivian Chow and Sam Hui, who are two of the biggest names in showbiz, have never worked together but are planning to return to showbiz together. This should be worth it to watch!

Recently there was a magazine which reported that Joe's career development wasn't ideal and said his 'Jade Girl Master' girlfriend Vivian would be returning to showbiz to support her boyfriend. Not only would she be doing advertisements, she would even have a concert at the HK Coliseum in September. Two days ago, Vivian accepted a radio interview and said all along, there have been people inviting her to do work in front of the camera. According to a reliable source, she already agreed to be the lead actress in the 3 Hui brother's new movie. Vivian wasn't able to announce this news first because Sam and Michael Hui haven't made an official annoucement yet.

Vivian will also sing the movie theme song
The 3 Hui brothers decided to return to showbiz and are planning to start shooting their new comedy movie in July or August. The leading actress will be Vivian, who is also returning to showbiz.

It's reported that Sam is putting great importance on this movie that he's working together with his 2 brothers. He hopes the female chosen as the leading actress has a familiar feeling, as well as a fresh feeling. He feels the current leading actresses in movies have already been exposed too much. Also, Vivian has a desire to return to showbiz, so he had to find a friend to make the connection with her, using a lot of strength to invite her to act in his movie. As a result, they made the deal. This time, Sam not only invited Vivian to be the lead actress, he also wrote a song for the new movie and is planning to have Vivian sing it. Vivian has never worked together with Sam. This time two of the biggest names in showbiz have rested for a long time and are returning and doing a crossover. It's believed this would definitely be worth it to watch.

Admires Sam
Yesterday the reporters faxed to Ricky Hui Koon Ying to ask him about the movie. He said the new movie by the 3 brothers doesn't have any new progress made. When Joe was asked about his girlfriend working with Sam in a movie, Joe laughed right away saying, "I've always admired Sam. Sam has been my idol for many years! But all along, Vivian has handled her own work. I'm really not sure!"

Vivian talks about the rumors of Joe depending on her and her returning to showbiz
(abridged version of actual article)

Joe denies having financial problems.

There was a report stating Joe was recently failing in everything he did, and Vivian would be returning to showbiz. Two nights ago at Commercial Radio, Joe accepted interviews by reporters and refuted one by one the examples in the report of him failing in everything he did and declared all of those to be untrue. He said, "I originally didn't have anything at all, so how could I have been unsuccessful in everything I did?"

Yesterday, Joe accepted a phone interview on Cha Siu Yan's radio program. In the report, it hinted that Joe depended on Vivian for money. Joe generously gave the phone to Vivian, who was beside him, so she could reply to this.

Vivian had a relaxed tone when defending her boyfriend, saying, "It's a huge joke to say Joe needs to depend on me for money. This is total nonsense to say such things."

When asked if both of them kept their finances independent, Vivian said, "Actually Joe already said this before. We don't pay attention to the other person's finances. Our finances are independent, but for some small monetary matters, we don't make it very distinct about who should pay for what." Cha Siu Yan asked, "Are you preparing to return to showbiz?" Vivian said, "There hasn't been anything new which happened to me ever since I wasn't in front of the camera. Of course there have constantly been people who were offering me jobs in front of the camera, so it's not out of the ordinary when someone is trying to find me to do a concert. But I believe it's not something that will happen this year. Up until today, I have not agreed to do a concert for anyone, and I'm not psychologically prepared to do such a thing." Cha Siu Yan asked, "Do you want to have a concert?" Vivian said, "I've had a concert before, so it's not something new to me. My position hasn't changed. My lifestyle right now is very suitable for me, and at the same time, I already earned HK$10 million (US$1,283,697) early on."

She again stressed, "I'm busy working on my book now. I haven't agreed to do any work in front of the camera. Today I received a lot of e-mail from my fans asking me about the news of me returning to showbiz. I don't want this news to mislead my fans and make them disappointed." She said she still keeps in contact with some of her fans, and even met them to go sing karaoke. Vivian also said she wouldn't let such a report affect her in what she decides to do.

Cha Siu Yan asked when Vivian will be Mrs. Ngai. Vivian said, "Ha? I don't know. I don't have such plans yet."

Vivian denies returning to showbiz for money; "I already earned HK$10 million early on"

Joe and Vivian strike back against the false reports.

A magazine had reported Joe's career was not as successful as he had hoped, and at the same time, his girlfriend Vivian would be returning to showbiz to earn HK$10 million (US$1,283,697). Two nights ago, Joe did an interview with the reporters before his radio program. Yesterday he accepted a phone interview with Cha Siu Yan on Commercial Radio, and also Vivian said on the radio that she wasn't returning to showbiz for money and felt it was a joke to say this about her. Having a nickname of 'Thrifty Girl,' Miss Chow further said, "I already earned HK$10 million early on." It's clear that money can't attract her to perform on stage or in front of the camera again. Instead, she's currently preparing to release her book about cats.

Joe sighs, "After one's death, a person can't take everything with him, but only what he did in his life."
Two nights ago, Joe generously let the reporters come into the Commercial Radio building to interview him so that they wouldn't be waiting for him outside of the building. Joe said he doesn't understand why the magazine would say his career is going bad when he's so busy at work these days. But he was most vehement about the report that his radio program 'Cool Valley' had bad listener ratings. He doesn't know if someone doesn't like him, and sighed saying, "You can't bring along everything when you die but the sin. However, Vivian's EQ (Emotional Quotient) is very high (meaning she can control her emotions well and doesn't get mad easily) and wouldn't let rumors affect her decision-making. She would only do what she likes to do."

Preparing to release a book about cats
When Vivian accepted Cha Siu Yan's radio interview, she stated she viewed the rumor of her returning to showbiz for HK$10 million as a joke, because she already earned HK$10 million a long time ago. Actually for these past few years that she's been resting, there have constantly been people who have talked to her about having a concert and returning to do work in front of the camera, but because she's really satisfied with her lifestyle right now, and the fact that she's already done a concert before, she doesn't have much interest in doing this. However, she's currently preparing to release a book about cats. Cha Siu Yan asked Vivian when she will be Mrs. Ngai. She said she hasn't yet thought about changing her current situation.

Vivian does radio interview to support her boyfriend saying he doesn't depend on her for money
(abridged version of actual article)

Joe and Vivian have been in love for many years and have always been persistent in being low-key about their relationship. But there was a magazine report two days ago which said Joe was having financial problems and needed his girlfriend Vivian to return to showbiz for HK$10 million to support her boyfriend. Two nights ago on Joe's radio program, he denied these rumors, and then yesterday, he accepted a phone interview on Cha Siu Yan's radio program, and even Vivian came out to clarify the negative rumors, which seems to be against their style of handling love matters in a low-key manner.

Cha Siu Yan said on the phone that the report made people feel Joe was depending on Vivian for money. Joe immediately said he would ask Vivian to reply, and Vivian said, "It's a huge joke to say Joe is depending on me for money!" Cha Siu Yan asked, "Then are you returning to showbiz?" Vivian said, "There's always been people who were constantly looking for me to do work in front of the camera, but this hasn't happened for this year only. It's just that someone made a small matter into a big one. I don't want to change my lifestyle right now. I'm currently busy working on my book about cats which will be released soon. Cha Siu Yan said, "You already earned HK$10 million early in your career!" Vivian said, "Yes!" Siu Yan asked, "Then when are you going to be Mrs. Ngai?" Vivian said, "I don't know. I don't have such plans yet." As for Joe, he constantly denied failing in everything he did and said he has no financial problems. Joe was frustrated and said, "If this report closely affects my benefit, then I will take legal action!"

Cheung Yiu Wing denied talking with Vivian
Cheung Yiu Wing (concert organizer) denied talking with Vivian about having a concert, and even said HK$10 million is too expensive to pay Vivian to return to showbiz.

Joe denies the rumors about him looking everywhere for money; Vivian doesn't have any plans on returning to showbiz yet

Joe said without any doubt that he has no financial problems.

After Joe returned to HK from Canada, there have been rumors about him having financial problems. Recently, there was even a report which said he wasn't successful in everything he did and said his girlfriend would return to showbiz for HK$10 million.

Joe was humourous and laughed saying, "I originally didn't have anything at all, so how could I have been unsuccessful in everything I did?" He continued to say last year when he returned to HK in June, he came back empty-handed, and he doesn't feel ashamed on what he got in the past 6 months. He emphasized that he wasn't returning to HK for money. He's living a very happy life right now and is able to reach an ideal life without needing his new income. When talking about the report which hinted that Joe depended on his girlfriend for money, Joe immediately handed over the phone to Vivian who was next to him. Vivian said this statement was a huge joke and was definitely just nonsense.

When asked if she was planning to return to showbiz, Vivian said ever since she went behind the camera up until today, there has constantly been people who tried to talk her into performing in front of the camera again, so when someone was looking for her to have a concert, it's not something unusual, but she believes it's not something that will happen this year. Up until today, she hasn't agreed to anyone to have a concert, and also isn't psychologically prepared to have a concert. As for saying she would come back to showbiz for HK$10 million, Vivian honestly said she earned HK$10 million a long time ago.

Two days ago, there was a magazine which reported Joe was having financial problems and also stated he depended on his girlfriend Vivian to return to showbiz to help fix the financial problem. Yesterday, Vivian accepted a radio interview on Commercial Radio to show her full support for her boyfriend. She said, "It's a huge joke to say Joe has to depend on me for money. There's no reason to care about such nonsense."

Vivian has no interest in returning to showbiz
When asked if Vivian has any interest in returning to showbiz, she denied this rumor saying, "Truthfully speaking, there's been very few new things which occurred from the time I stopped working in front of the camera until now. My lifestyle right now is very suitable for me. If there isn't any special thing which happens, then I don't really want to change my current situation."

Also, the night before last, Joe responded to the magazine report saying, "This magazine treated me like I am the murderer of its father. They said I always depended on women and said I don't have any useful skills, but I'm satisfied with my skills!"

The other day there was a report which stated Joe's career wasn't going well and his girlfriend Vivian would return to showbiz and have a concert for HK$10 million. Yesterday, Joe accepted a phone interview on the radio with Cha Siu Yan to clarify the rumors, and he even asked his girlfriend Vivian, who was beside him, to help him clarify. Vivian used a lot of strength to show her support for her boyfriend. It's been a long time since Vivian did an interview, and she didn't hesitate to speak out to show her support. She said the rumors were a 'huge joke' and said, "I've always been financially independent!"

Regarding the rumors about her returning to showbiz, Vivian denied this and said, "Ever since I left, there has been very few new things happening in my life. I've done a concert in the past, so it's not a new feeling! I will be releasing a book about my cat soon."
