Vivian Chow and Vivian Lai Sui Yan both have the English name of Vivian, and they were both good friends, therefore many people gave them the nicknames of "Big V" (Vivian Chow) and "Small V" (Vivian Lai).

Vivian and Taiwan's music writer Lam Lung Suen sang a duet together called "Rumors," which enabled Vivian to enter the Taiwan market.

Do you remember Vivian's dance steps to her classic song "Ji Jok Doh Ching"?

Vivian, Leon Lai, Jacky Cheung, and Priscilla Chan all worked at PolyGram Records. It's such an overwhelming cast of people.

Little kids also liked Vivian. She would often be a special guest on the kid's programs.

Vivian mostly sang slow songs, and once in a while would perform dance steps to a fast song.

Vivian also has a "classic" feeling, and when she wears the 'historical' costume, she looks even prettier than in her modern look.

With Vivian's song "Rumors," she was able to receive the '93 bronze award for "Best Mandarin song" in the "Jade Solid Gold 10 Best Songs" award show. (note: the correct award is "Best Duet Song" and not "Best Mandarin song.")
